Water For Haiti... UNCW students Lisa Chambers
and Rachel Smith, through Clean the World (CTW) organized a local water &
supply fundraiser for Haiti's relief in January. In 3 days, Water For Haiti
collected 750-800 cases of water, 100+ gallons & countless boxes of food

Contest Winner... The Pleasure Island Chamber of

WHQR Gallery Re-opens... WHQR 91.3fm Public Radio will
re-open the WHQR Gallery on April 23, located in The Warwick Building, downtown
Wilmington. Art exhibits rotate every three months. WHQR will host an opening
reception and two additional receptions on Fourth Friday nights.

Blues For Haiti... On January 23, Blues For Haiti
took place at The Rusty Nail Sports Bar, 1310 S. 5th St., Wilmington to raise
money for Haiti relief through the local Cape Fear Chapter of the American Red
Cross. The evening featured performances by the Road House Blues Band, Just
Woke Up, Ten Dollar Thrill, Tommy B & the Stingers, and Michele & the
Midnight Blues Band. Sound by Pete Durso of the Cape Fear Blues Society &
